18-06-2001 ASP.NET Beta 2 available
Today has been announced that the ASP.NET s available in Beta 2. It can be downloaded from www.asp.net. The total download is about 18 Mb. Between Beta 1 and Beta 2 a lot has changed, but between Beta 2 and the endproduct no more changes will be made. Code that works on Beta 2 also works on ASP.NET v1.0.

ASP guru Magnus Lindberg from Sweden has opened Cshrp.net (www.cshrp.net) this week. A site with articles and code, aboout C# and ASP.NET.

10-05-2001 'Worm' infects machines with IIS
A special kind of virus, a so called worm, is going around at the moment and infects machines wit Sun Solaris and Micrsoft Windows (with IIS). It uses an old security leak, but it seems a lot of system administrators haven't "closed" that leak (even though there's a patch available for some time for both Solaris as Windows).

09-04-2001 MSN Music made with ASP.NET
The new music service from Microsoft, MSN Music (now still in beta), has been made with ASP.NET. Scott Guthrie from the ASP.NET team has indicated there will come more sites that will test some "real-world" scenario's with ASP.NET. Ofcourse we'll keep you informed...
