ASP advanced
ASP Advanced topics are about creating more robust and scalable ASP applications, more esoteric functionality, and
creating reusable code.
Who should attend? The beginning ASP developer with basic knowledge of ASP that want to expand their knowledge.
What will you learn? After following this class you will have knowledge about security, speed,
re-use of code and application design.
Some of the subjects discussed in our ASP for advanced classes are:
- Webserver security
- Tips for writing secure code
- ASP internals
- Cache-techniques
- Advantages and disadvantages of the Session object
- Measuring code speed
- Improving database access
- Advanced database (ADO) techniques
- Alternatives for databases
- Code re-use with include and Execute
- Application design
Prerequisits
Resonable knowledge of ASP, VBScript, databases and computersystems is required.
The subjects from the beginners class are presumed known.

1 1/2 days lecture-only or 2-days hands-on class

Attendees will receive a manual containing the course slides and a book. Source code for all examples will also be
supplied. The teacher provides email support for 1 year on the subjects discussed in the class
