Introduction to ASP.NET
The class 'Introduction to ASP.NET' gives you the opportunity
to get acquainted with ASP.NET.
Who should attend? The beginning developer with some knowledge of HTML and designers who
want to expand their knowledge.
What will you learn? You will learn how to make effective web applications with ASP.NET.
At the moment ASP.NET is available in Beta 2. Final release won't be different qua syntax from
Beta 2. This means that applications that are made with Beta 2, always work.
Some of the subjects discussed in our ASP.NET classes are:
- Architecture of .NET Framework and ASP.NET
- Creating and compiling ASP.NET pages
- ASP.NET and Visual Basic 7 syntax
- HTML forms and ASP.NET
- ASP.NET Rich controls
- Creating controles for ASP.NET
Required foreknowledge
Reasonable knowlegde of HTML, databases and computersystems is required. Knowledge of ASP is not required.
Length
2-day lecture-only class
3-day hands-on class
For people with no programming knowledge this class can be expanded to a 4-day hands on class. The first day will discuss
programming with Visual Basic or C#.
Included in the class
Attendees will receive a manual containing the course slides and a book. Source code for all examples will also be
supplied. The teacher provides email support for 1 year on the subjects discussed in the class
