Sams Teach Yourself XSLT in 21 Days
Auteur(s): Michiel van Otegem
ASPNL rating: none
This book was written by Michiel van Otegem, founder and head-teacher of ASPNL. This book will teach you all about
XSLT, a generic language to manipulate XML documents.
Since we're prejudiced we won't give a review about this book.

XML for ASP.NET developers
Author(s): Dan Wahlin
ASPNL rating: 8.5
This book aims at giving you a good working knowledge on using XML in
ASP.NET. The different objects in the .NET Framework dealing with XML are
described thoroughly and with nice samples. Additional topics like ADO.NET
XML support, SQL Server 2000 and creating webservices are also covered well.
The target audience are developers that have some experience with ASP.NET,
but next to none in XML. This is why about a third of the book covers the
basics of XML (good as reference), which makes the user level indicated on
the back cover (Intermediate to Advanced) a little misleading. Overall this
is a solid book however with a lot of useful information.

XML in Action
Author(s): William J. Pardi
ASPNL rating: 7
This book gives a good idea about the use of XML in webdevelopment.
However, it's written for the XML parser that's in Internet Explorer 5.0,
that doesn't comply to all the standards yet (especially XSL).
Nevertheless it's a good book to learn XML from, but it's not suitable for XSL/XSLT.

XSLT Programmer's Reference
Author(s): Michael Kay
ASPNL rating: 7
For the experienced programmer this is a very good book, because it discusses
every element of XSLT thoroughly. However, we don't recommend the book to beginners. For them the book is
too difficult to read with an overload of information. They have to wait for the first book that discusses XSLT
for the beginner.
